The AGE consultancy office has started its activities in july 2006. We are a small but highly specialised company dealing with specific geotechnical problems; mainly near-shore geotechnics, follow-up of specific testing and monitoring and environmental geotechnics. We focus our activities to consultancy rather than full geotechnical design.

Soil parameters from geotechnical testing, beginning of 2010
In the framework of AGE Training, we will be offering a 1 day course on determination of soil parameters from geotechnical testing. The training course will be held somewhere in the early part of 2010. Main lecturer will be Prof. William Van Impe. A part of this course will be devoted to the behaviour of crushable soils. In the framework of AGE Training, we will be offering a new course on Lateral Loading on Piles and Pile Groups. The training course will be held on December 7th till 9th (2 and a half days). ICSMGE 17, Alexandria, October 5-9 2009
We will be attending the next International Conference on Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina in Alexandria (Egypt) in October this year. Information about the conference can be found here. We will be on stage in the TC5 meeting on Sunday, the Practitioners/Academia forum on Tuesday and as a panellist in session TS1A on wednesday.
